Bit of an “issue” of late. This business of travelling about in the truck & then moving all our “stuff” (Jayne uses another “S” word for stuff) back into the house each time seems to be a lot of wasted effort. So Jayne has decided to just stay in the truck. Simples. Fair call.
Not sure how long this condition will endure but for the moment we are happy truckers. A case in point occurred recently when we returned to Crescent from a trip. Rather than move into the house we paid to stay a few days, in the truck, in the local caravan park. It’s at least a 10 min walk from our place. This was then extended a few more days unplugged at Big Hill. Cheaper rates unplugged in National Parks (but not by much).
So, we’re currently embarking on a long overdue slow crawl up the East coast from Crescent Head to the border or beyond. This has been on the todo list for some time but something has always dragged us off course in the past. Hopefully, this time, we will be fine.

We’re on our 3rd stop so far if you count 1. Crescent Head Holiday Park, 2. Big Hill (or Limeburners Creek) and now at 3. Hat Head. Tomorrow we’ll be at 4. South West Rocks for about 3 nights.
Not a lot of swell here at Hat Head so there may be a chance to do some spear fishing or at least a snorkel. The water is pretty clear. It’s also warmer up this way. The beautiful walk along the beach this morning for a couple of kilometres was a reminder of how amazing this East Coast is.

We did a scout trip to Arakoon to check if the truck would fit into the Trial Bay Gaol Campground. We picked a spot & Jayne booked it online before we had left the park. we saw quite a few locals & they seemed pretty chilled about us.

With the Camp site secured we rewarded ourselves with lunch at the pub in South West Rocks complete with an ice cream later while sitting on a park bench doing our best impression of a couple of nomads.

We did do a bit of walking about to justify the caloric intake.

Love this, thanks as always!
