It’s been a while, but we’re back…
Back in more ways than we thought possible. Since about May 2015 we have been trying to get Jayne’s “back” up to travel fitness. She is still suffering a bit (that’s another story) but it’s now at a level where being back in the van is more preferable than not.
First week we set up at Crescent Head Caravan Park (CHCP) to ease back into van life. So far, 2 leaky water pipes, blocked water pump, a fridge that is playing up (new fan – fixed it), possible dodgy solar panel & a gas detector that goes off when you slam the door. It’s just the vans way of saying “don’t leave me this way…” (Think Thelma Houston or the Communards, depending on your age)
Anyway life in the CHCP was just a bit crowded for us, so once all (most) of our technical issues were ironed out we have set up “unplugged” along the back beaches at Limeburners Creek (about half way between CH & Point Plomer).

Just had a dip before lunch & now just sitting here having a cup of tea & feeling pretty lucky at the moment.
Our closest neighbor is a 6′ goanna!
