Just a quick trip to Sydney For a couple of days to attend the Wedding of Erica & Robin.

Great spot for a wedding – Italian Village, The Rocks

The whole city seemed to be celebrating!
It was a very romantic evening complete with some unexpected fireworks over the opera house to add a finishing touch.
We had arrived a day early so as not to get caught up with plane issues and to do a bit of big city stuff, like, shopping.
Jayne had prearranged to have a wetsuit held in the Sydney City Ripcurl store only to find the size was too big (size 8) & no size 6 in the store.
A few phone calls & a ferry ride to Manly & a size 6 is found & it fits.

Snug as a Bug in a Rug
Evidently a size 6 in 2015 is equivalent to a size 10 in 1980…
In all we had a great day out & about in Manly with a surprisingly good Fish’N’Chips

Noice Grilled Barra at this place
There was even some surf at Manly beach but we resisted the urge to christen the wetsuit.

Manly Beach Break
The trip over to Manly & back on the ferry stirred some memories of our few years living there back in the late 80s.

Manly Ferry Wefie – Being the Tourist
That was a busy fun time for us & we both felt that Manly still had that same comfortable casual cafe style feel to it now as it had back then. Although these days it’s a little bit busier.

Inside the Outside – Westin Hotel
Two nights at the Westin Hotel in the middle of Sydney CBD while very lush is still not a patch on wandering about the countryside.
Back at the airport now having breaky in the Qantas Club & looking forward to getting back to the Van ExtraOrdinaire.

A380 – Double Decker (Air)Bus – Huge Beasty
Looking good in that wetsuit Jayne!
