SaltWorks Surf, Sheep, Shells & Chardy

Started the day with a zippy little surf at Saltworks Road this morning. A left hander off a river mouth. Not very big, but with only 4 in the water it felt so good to be back in the briny to wash the city off.

Sheep. Lots about these parts.

We took a good sunny walk along Mayfield Beach to check out a possible diving spot off an old Jetty. Jayne wants fish on the menu again.

Later in the day we had another beach walk & came across a ridiculous amount of shells. Some of them scallop shells. Evidently after big swells you can just collect fresh scallops off the beach. None about today…

Spikey Bridge (bizarre convict relic)

We drove to Swansea to dump garbage, fill up a gas cylinder, buy bananas & firewood, so it’s been a busy day. Need some relaxant now.
