West Coast

We went exploring on the West Coast today. Started up at Ann Bay (potentially the next free camp) in the North just a few Km north west of Marrawah

Made it down to Nelson Bay in the South, about 15km past Arthur River. We basically had a look at every green/white tent symbol on the map above looking for a potential camp.

Along the way we stopped to check out the Dismal Swamp. We’ll be back to spend about 1/2 a day down the sink hole to check out what goes on down there.

The result, more stunning scenery

Ann Bay (great surf potential here) and a great spot for a picnic lunch.

Arthur River Mouth

Not all trees get logged, some float downstream(Arthur River Mouth)

Nelson Bay was very rocky

Then back to The Nut

It was raining lightly when we headed out this morning & it was clear blue sky (above) on our return.
