We were lucky to get this spot as it’s seems to be pretty busy…
We are in the middle of a quick dash up the coast to Crescent Head to put the van in storage for a month or two.
Tonight’s stopover is in Booti Booti, “The Ruins”, National Park camp site.
Jayne is still taking it easy since the “Microdiscetomy” on L5/S1 to remove some splattered disk that she’s been slowly extruding for over 5 years. This is the reason we have been mostly off the road for the last 4 months & the obvious lack of blogging. She loves being back in the van but she is a long way from being a happy camper.
The patient is understandably lacking patience now that it’s two weeks after the surgery. The degree of success of the procedure is still a bit up in the air. We need to give it 6 weeks before we’ll know if it’s really helped & then Jayne can hopefully get off lite duties.
The hunter & gatherer monkey was set loose today to find some lunch. After an hour or so of snorkelling around Elizabeth Beach he was able to produce the goods & we had fresh BBQ’d fish for lunch (in ginger, coriander & lemongrass).
Beautiful spot to stop. It’ll be a quiet night tonight.

Man, all our love and best wishes to Jayne, and to the fish that was consumed!

Rest up Jayne – it’ll all still be there in 6 weeks. Worse places to be too…
