Rain?
It’s Raining!
Nobody told us it rains in Tassie…

We had to duck over the hills from Scottsdale to Launceston (60km ish) to pick up a grey water tank (so we can be “Leave No Trace” compliant) & sort out our van/car storage for our trip home at Christmas. A lovely winding drive over the mountains, lots of mist, moss, lichen, ferns & too many shades of green to describe.

Currently at the end of our first two “unplugged” nights of the trip! So far, still fully charged. The battery meter has been on full at the end of each day, so all is good in the unplugged department, even with some cloud & rain. Water still on 3/4 full & we have become very proficient at the 5 litre shower.

Needless to say while we were away the ducks were at play

Evidently we had invited them for dinner but they’d forgotten to tell us about that bit.

Tomorrow we are off to Binalong Bay in the Bay of Fires.
