Today’s early morning surf patrol covered almost every break between Gunnamatta & Portsea.
About half a dozen hopeful punters made appearances in a variety of otherwise deserted beach car parks but there was not one soul out anywhere. It was all just a bit too messy, well almost.
The only place that showed any promise was a remote spot called Spray Point.

It’s just a shame I didn’t have my mountain goat arms & legs on or I may have had a slim chance of clambering down the rugged cliffs, wading thru the rock pool & jumping off the ledge onto the reef. No idea how you’d get back in…
It was a cranking right handler, a long way out, that appeared to line up on the bigger (2m+) sets

Hmmm, it did look a bit big from where I was, so maybe it’s a good thing I’m not a goat.
