Mornington Peninsula

It’s been a fun filled few days catching up with some of the Elsom side of the family down Mornington Peninsula way.

Over the weekend we feasted on a beautifully baked big snapper that looked (and tasted) so wonderful when it was served up that I just had to take a photo.

Yum Yum, Thanks Sue.

Unfortunately, I was a bit slow in getting the main in focus but I did manage to capture desert.

We were particularly impressed with the latest addition to the Elsom lineage. Young Elliot, at about 6 months old, appears to have his parents well trained in all things to do with the provision of feeding, amusement, sleeping & nappy changing.

We’ve also had a chance to explore our surroundings by doing a number of short walks about the place, including a short walk along a long pier.

Over the next few days we hope to explore some vineyards & other attractions. Jayne’s mapped out a comprehensive plan & highlighted a couple to visit. See below. It may be a busy few days…

In an attempt to save some extra diesel, some research has been done into alternate energy sources for pulling the van with very little success

More research is required on this one.

Surf wise, there’s been plenty of it but the winds have not been favourable.
